Jack Russell Races St. Michaels, MD

The St. Michaels Jack Russell Races are an annual event that is an absolute blast for dogs,  dog owners, and onlookers, alike.

The Jack Russell Races are the best two hours you’ll ever spend in St. Michaels, and It's the most fun you can have with four legs!

Packed with dogs, big and small, the races take place on the front lawn of the 

St. Michaels Inn.  Your pooch does not have to race in order to attend the event. 

All are welcome -  two legs or four!

The purpose of the Annual Jack Russell Races is to raise funds for local charities and strengthen community ties.  The Jack Russell Races of St. Michaels is a registered 501(c)(3).

The proceeds of the Races are donated to local non-profit animal shelters.  

Last year’s recipients included:

·  Talbot Humane

·  Baywater Animal Rescue

·  Caroline County Humane Society

The details for the 2025 Jack Russell Races are as follows:

·  Date:  October 19, 2025 (Sunday)

·  Time:  Registration opens at 9:00 AM; Races start 11AM.

·  Place: St. Michaels Inn, located on 1228 S Talbot St, St Michaels, MD 21663.  (Parking available on-site)

There will be many local businesses offering a variety of food and drink.  From Foxy’s famous Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar, to local craft beers, 

to hot dogs and nachos.
